Swans rescued by emergency services

A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew, along with a boat crew rescued two swans near Bromwich Road, Worcester. The swans were successfully rescued and handed over to the care of Swan Rescue. A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester Fire Station, plus the station's boat crew, were called at 9.51am on November 23, to the rescue of a small animal in Bromwich Road, Worcester. "Two swans were rescued using grab poles and handed over to the care of Swan Rescue. "There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required. "The incident was marked as pending closure at 10:31am."...
